Job Description
As a Compensation Analyst you will play a key role in supporting the Total Rewards team by analyzing compensation data, participating in salary surveys, and maintaining consistency in pay structures. Primary duties include pricing positions, generating compensation reports, and assisting with incentive programs. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen interest in learning U.S. compensation practices and regulations. This position offers the opportunity for independent work, complemented by guidance and support from senior team members and leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze compensation data and generate reports to evaluate internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Participate in salary surveys to assess internal equity and market positioning.
- Price new roles using benchmark data to ensure alignment with market standards and internal compensation structures.
- Apply best practices and technological solutions to manage compensation processes effectively.
- Design ad hoc reports for compensation trends, budgets, and management decision-making.
- Assist with variable pay program documentation, eligibility and distribution.
- Provide support for daily compensation tasks and special projects as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of compensation data.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (C1 level) with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, with 2+ years of compensation analysis experience (preferably international organization).
- Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new concepts, including U.S. compensation standards and regulations.
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong collaboration, partnership skills, and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Knowledge of compensation best practices and market trends is preferred.
- Prior experience with Payscale is a plus.
