Introduction
We're proud to be launching a new partnership with a high security public sector client; a household name who play a key role in public safety.
We're looking for proactive Recruiters to join our teams in either Bristol, Newport or London on a 6-month fixed-term contract, helping us find the right people to fill vacancies for this historic organisation, and deliver an outstanding recruitment experience.
What will I be doing?
As a PeopleScout Recruiter, you'll be our go-to talent acquisition expert, leading recruitment campaigns from briefing to onboarding.
You'll manage a range of roles – sometimes high-volume, sometimes niche – across various sectors, building relationships and providing trusted advice to hiring managers.
Some of your typical daily activities will include:
- Owning the end-to-end recruitment process, taking briefs through to making job offers
- Using your expertise to design sourcing strategies that reach both active and passive candidates
- Consulting with clients on best practice, sharing insights and your recommendations
- Balancing multiple projects, prioritising deadlines, quality and compliance
- Building strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders
Who we're looking for?
You'll be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering results. You're confident in managing stakeholder relationships, providing recruitment consultant advice, and taking ownership of your projects from start to finish.
As a minimum, you'll need:
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes
- The ability to design and deliver sourcing strategies that produce quality candidates
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and consult
- Proficiency with ATS and CRM systems and an understanding of GDPR and compliance.
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience within an RPO, agency, or in-house recruitment setting.
- Experience using social media and digital tools to attract and engage candidates.
What else do I need to know?
This is a high security client account, which means you'll need to complete an enhanced pre-employment clearance check if you're successful (Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 2 + Counter Terrorism Check).
This will include checking criminal, intelligence and national security records, public records and credit agencies. You'll also be asked to provide details for immediate family members, friends and people you closely associate with. Once you've submitted the form, it usually takes around 2-3 months for the vetting to be complete.
We encourage you to consider this carefully, and only apply if you're comfortable with these checks being carried out, if you're successful.
What's in it for me?
As a PeopleScout employee, you'll enjoy a wide range of company benefits, including:
- 27 days holiday a year, pro rata for your fixed term contract
- Great company paid benefits including, health cash plan, life assurance, company pension and access to an Employee Assistance Programme
- Cash back on everyday healthcare costs with our flexible dental and cash plan benefits
- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme
- And much more!
